In 2007, Sheila Klein and her family came to Buenos Aires, Argentina. She discovered stacks of beautiful cotton cleaning cloths in the supermercado. For her, they resembled a Chanel-type jacket, not something for cleaning the kitchen. So, she made herself a jacket. "The Story of New Trade Route" was the culmination of a 15-year project at 22 del Este in Retiro, chronicling the project from research, performance and fashion.
